Stowe is a little town with a big name, known not just for its ski runs that draw in snow bunnies every winter, but also for the vibrant sugar maples super mario bros that line its streets in the fall. Stowe is a great place to see the autumn foliage whether you choose to drive, ride a bike, or trek through it, with the best viewing occurring between the first week of September and the latter week of October. The annual Trapp Family Lodge Oktoberfest is normally held in the middle of September, so if you schedule it correctly, you may be able to attend.
